Cookie Policy

Last updated: 6 May 2026

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They allow the site to remember information about your visit, like your preferences and login state.

We also use similar technologies such as local storage to provide certain features of the Service.

2. How we use cookies

FoundrLinq uses cookies and local storage for the following purposes:

3. Strictly necessary cookies

These cookies are essential for the Service to function. Without them, you would not be able to log in or use core features. They cannot be disabled.

  • Authentication tokens — to keep you signed in.
  • Session identifiers — to maintain your session as you navigate the Service.
  • Security tokens — to protect against cross-site attacks.

4. Functional storage

We use browser local storage to remember small bits of information that improve your experience:

  • Last-visited timestamps — to show you what is new since you last visited a Valley or Thoughts feed.
  • Onboarding progress — to remember which onboarding steps you have completed or dismissed.
  • Display preferences — to remember UI preferences such as collapsed sections.

5. Payment cookies (Stripe)

When you upgrade to Pro, we redirect you to Stripe to process your payment. Stripe uses its own cookies for security and fraud prevention. These cookies are managed by Stripe under their own privacy policy, available at stripe.com/privacy.

6. Analytics and advertising

We do not currently use third-party analytics or advertising cookies. If we add analytics in the future (such as a privacy-respecting analytics tool), we will update this policy and ask for your consent where required.

7. Managing cookies

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to:

  • See which cookies are stored.
  • Block all cookies, or block cookies from specific sites.
  • Delete cookies when you close the browser.

Note that blocking essential cookies will prevent you from logging in to FoundrLinq or using core features.

You can clear local storage by clearing your browser's site data for foundrlinq.com.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
